A message from our Executive Director
At Save Lives Initiative – South Sudan, we believe the people closest to a crisis are best placed to respond to it. As a South Sudanese organisation, we bring local knowledge, community trust and access to hard-to-reach places, backed by accountable management.
We work alongside communities affected by conflict, explosive ordnance and displacement to save lives today and build peace, dignity and resilience for tomorrow. I invite you to partner with us.
How we are governed
Our Board of Directors is SLI-SS’s highest governing and oversight body. It sets strategic direction, approves major policies and plans, oversees performance and risk, safeguards our mission and assets, and holds management to account. The Executive Director serves as our principal executive officer, putting Board decisions into practice and leading our day-to-day work.

Vice Chairperson
